How To Use A Treadmill: 3 Simple Steps to Fitness

How to set up your treadmill

There is a metal plate at the front and back of the machine. The machine comes with a padded mat, which can be placed on the front or back side.  You will need to keep the front of the mat clear so you can see the wall in front.

Treadmill program

Start the machine and set the speed at 10% on the top dial. Next, select any exercise program on the workout screen. Start the machine and walk in place for 30 seconds. Increase the speed to 1% for 20 seconds. Then step up the speed by 5% to the highest setting. Walk for 20 seconds at the highest speed.

Step down to the slowest speed and repeat steps above. On each successive run, increase the speed by 1% at the start and increase it by 5% on each run.
